HOSPITALS AND ABORTION clinics in China, together with pharmaceutical
companies, have been engaged in a dark and grisly trade, according to a major
South Korean broadcaster: turning dead babies into powdered medicine.

In an report
aired on Aug. 6
, the Seoul Broadcasting Station (SBS) say they
uncovered the process by which the bodies of dead infants are turned into
capsuled “stamina enhancers” for humans.
When a baby dies—usually in still birth or by an abortion—Chinese hospitals
and abortion clinics immediately notify pharmaceutical companies, the report
claims. The companies purchase the baby corpses and “store them in some family’s
refrigerator to avoid suspicion,” according to the International
Business Times
, who reported on the investigation.
The bodies are put inside “medical drying microwaves” and then ground into
powder, the report claims. The powder is put inside capsules and sold as
“stamina enhancer,” according to International Business Times, or
“aphrodisiacs,” according to SBS.
According to the article, the Korean investigative team obtained several of
the capsules and ran DNA tests, finding that the contents were 99.7 percent
human. They were also able to distinguish the sex of the dead baby, their report
said.
SBS said that a business has been established between China and South
Korea, trading in the dead baby capsules.
An Epoch Times reporter calling SBS on Saturday afternoon EDT was
unable to be connected with the producers of the documentary report, or find out
further information about it. The documentary was broadcast on the evening of
Aug. 6, according to SBS’s schedule.
Currently the story is on the front page of the SBS website; the company is
South Korea’s largest privately-owned national television network.
